ABOUT
I have been interested and involved with design in one form or another for most of my life. I was born into a ‘crafty’ family; whether it’s sewing, painting, knitting or getting out paper and glue – we are always making something. Handmade is normal for me.
Growing up in the ‘Trading Spaces’ era, my favorite part of the show was watching the carpenters bring the designer’s furniture to life. After scratching the idea to become a carpenter I decided to pursue a design degree. My degree immersed me in the design world; teaching me about user research, design styles, brainstorming, development, model making, materials, and more.
After college I have been able to continue pursuing design in both my professional and personal life. This site is a great place to see a little bit of both and demonstrate how design thinking is a lifestyle.
